[muffin still doesn't like pain and not sudden pain either, but his reaction isn't the same as it was before. he's not being frustrated and surprised on top of a roof this time, he's warm in his own room. he invited this.
so instead of hissing and tensely enduring it, he yelps freely and clings to the nearest safety and comfort, Angel Devil himself. he'll sing this time.]
[ there was a feeling like a shudder he could feel going through Angel Devil's body, in the first handful of seconds. where his teeth are sharp, his embrace is gentle, even the points of his nails kept carefully clear of bearing down too hard.
he does have that all-important sense of fear safely ensconced back in his body... so the course of this bite is different. it started as a vicious pounce, then graduates into firm suction, a line of red escaping from his mouth on a path toward Muffin's bared chest... he doesn't openly revel in trying to wring every ounce of hurt he can from the point of contact, this time.

[muffin swallows, catching his breath and trying to get used to the bite. it's not so bad this time... he unclenches his hand where it was fisted in angie's robe and moves to smooth over his crest]
His teeth prize free, before he murmurs unfamiliar words-- "S̸̰̫̈́■l̶̩̪̂e̴̡͋͝■c̵̹̹̓̏ȅ̶̲͝," he tells it, and a singular glyph in vivid red appears upon the door. A pulse of purple light bleeds out from it, passing and then vanishing over the entire room.
The glyph doesn't fade. Assumedly, it'll be there until they're done here. ]
[muffin makes a small noise– not even a real whine, just a flinch of sound —and flushes self-consciously. it was a tiny sound, but it feels so much louder with a private audience.]
