I'm gonna kill the man that gave me this. I've killed way more other people already, too. More than I remember. But he's powerful. I want that power, because it means my life's going to be easier. You read his papers, you just said. He doesn't just sit and exist, and I don't want that for any of you either. Want you to have the peace to have time to yourself, to relax if you want. Want you to have more time to explore or play or study, and do what you want to do instead of what you were made to do.

People are supposed to feel fear like that when they're looking at a killer. So? What makes you abandon your fear...? What is it, about you, that you make that kind of choice? What do you get? I give people things all the time because it means I'll get what I want, in the end. Or at the very least, I make them think I will. I'm good at it.

It's what makes me happy when I figure out that piece making people tick. Maybe I've gone tame, in the future, and that's why you're around... but it's not like the blood's coming off.
