The Genome gets quieter, concentrating, as he takes them up-- but he's clearly trying to play it off like he's not having to work all that hard, too, if Muffin catches his eye. He's not as good at veils as he one day will be.

The rooftop was cute and I was four and had never seen stars before. Now I'm old~~. My tastes are more complex. Everybody's palate changes with time.

This close, he clearly smells like make-up powder, and really expensive soap. Red's not selling something like that for smiles and flower petals. ]

You're going to want to look away. Will hurt your eyes being this close to bulb.

A bulb this big will. Not as hot as a fire though, do want it to make more light than heat.

Do you want to try? Don’t know Holy, but is at least partly a magic light.

[meanwhile, muffin’s reaching out with his free hand to touch the glass. he has to concentrate here— he doesn’t zap the bulb directly, but reaches his senses out for the wiring to feed his lightning through to the filament.]

Maybe~. I want to see what color yours makes it, first. Holy, you know, it's light, like... it's snowy out...

Am only heating the filament, so this is lighthouse’s normal color. But if you want…

[a massive, blazing light. a brightness burning without color.

...Catching heaven to keep the lights on. Well. That definitely gets around some of the problems of just using Mist.
