[meanwhile, muffin’s reaching out with his free hand to touch the glass. he has to concentrate here— he doesn’t zap the bulb directly, but reaches his senses out for the wiring to feed his lightning through to the filament.]

...Catching heaven to keep the lights on. Well. That definitely gets around some of the problems of just using Mist.

Only have to watch out for gryphons messing with power surges. That part not so heavenly.

[he's only one catbird and that's a big bulb, so after another minute or so he lets the lighthouse turn off. the charge he freed for the corona lingers on a little longer, glowing like ghostly candleflames on the points of the roof and the edge of the railing]

_{[ he watches it until the last, knowing it's not an experience he'll soon have the chance to repeat. then... he stalks over to the bulb, too. he holds a hand some few centimeters from it, looks over at Muffin, and purrs, ]}

[whistles softly, gazing at the cast light and its brush of blue as if entranced. he’s familiar with many elements, like Fire, Ice, Mind, Lightning, and so on, but Holy isn’t one he’s ever seen before. he’s never felt energy with that kind of clarity before.]

_{[ his hand's easy to coax loose. he takes the opportunity to sieze hold of Muffin's, and guide it to rest over the fancy pin over his heart. ]}

I'm gonna kill the man that gave me this. I've killed way more other people already, too. More than I remember. But he's powerful. I want that power, because it means my life's going to be easier. I'm going to use it to kill more people, too. That's what I am. I'm made just for killing people. That's the kind of angel I am. So... you see. I really am both at the same time, right?

You read his papers, you just said. He doesn't just sit and exist, and I don't want that for any of you either. Want you to have the peace to have time to yourself, to relax if you want. Want you to have more time to explore or play or study, and do what you want to do instead of what you were made to do.
